The Augmented Human Development Index (AHDI) is a summary measure of historical achievement in four key dimensions of human development: a long andhealthy life, being knowledgeable, being free and having a decent standard of living. This indicator is compared to a metric that excludes the standard of livingdimension, measured by GDP per capita.
